Awakening the Soul is a form of Sheng Zhen Meditation ~ in Motion and Stillness. Sheng Zhen has a focus on opening the heart and cultivating unconditional love. This seated, meditative movement practice opens the heart to connect your own life force with the qi (energy) of the whole universe. The movements are accompanied by inspirational, poetic contemplations to help you feel more optimistic and at peace. We will also include a practice called Gathering Qi, which can be done seated or standing. These practices benefit your body, mind, and spirit. Suitable for any fitness level. Rebecca is a certified qigong and meditation teacher, integrative nutrition health coach, and award-winning author of "The Multi-Orgasmic Diet: Embrace Your Sexual Energy and Awaken Your Senses for a Healthier, Happier, Sexier You." She also recently published her 2nd book, "Detox Your Life." Rebecca has over twenty years of experience with energy work and has been a certified qigong and meditation teacher since 2008, practicing Sheng Zhen since 2006. In 2012, Master Li Junfeng, founder of the International Sheng Zhen Society, requested Rebecca’s help with rewriting his instructional book, "Sheng Zhen Wuji Yuan Gong: A Return to Oneness."
