Hi! I’m Rebecca Clio Gould, and I’ve worn a lot of hats since dropping out of law school in 2005 to pursue my true passions!

I’m an award-winning author and holistic health practitioner. I’m a Hampshire College graduate. I also graduated from the Heartwood Institute and then also from the Institute for Integrative Nutrition as a health coach. I’m a certified Sheng Zhen teacher, Supreme Science Qigong teacher, Sexual Awakening for Women Facilitator, and a Mental Health First Aid provider. I have been a board-certified holistic health practitioner since 2007, with extensive training in various modalities such as massage, Reiki, shiatsu, breathwork, SomatoEmotional Release Therapy, and traditional Chinese medicine’s 5-Element Theory. In September 2020, I let go of my massage license, but some day (after this pandemic passes) I just might be available again for Reiki, CranioSacral, and SomatoEmotional Release sessions.

I’ve moved around a lot, including moving to Austin to help Master Li, founder of Sheng Zhen, rewrite some instructional books. But now I’m back in Seattle, Washington and happy to be back in my home state. When I’m not working, I am most likely to be found out in nature or on a comfy couch — or even just sprawled out on the floor! — enjoying some downtime, communing with nature or my sweet husky shepherd mix Buddy. I also enjoy painting, singing in the car, and spending quality time with my family and friends.

In September 2021, I became a mom. You can read more about that journey here. Prior to going on maternity leave in the Summer of 2021, I was teaching qigong and meditation and working on my 3rd book, editing blogs for a colleague, and managing Sheng Zhen’s Facebook and Instagram accounts.
